, an acclaimed family-run maker and provider of specialty chemicals and services to a wide range of industries in the Western US, is seeking a Production Worker for their chemical production plant situated in La Habra, CA.
Those with previous experience in a manufacturing facility will be given special preference, with preference given to those with prior chemical production experience.
Our optimal candidate must be able to interact in English, be reliable, and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities:
Assist compounders and supervision in manufacturing quality finished products.
Prior to packaging the product, review batch slips to ensure that the product being packaged matches the documentation.
Inspect all containers inside and out prior to filling.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production area.
Ensure that applicable products meet all quality standards before leaving the production area.
Properly mark, label, and fill pails, carboys, drums, and containers in accordance with Shepard Bros.
Inc.
standard operating procedures.
Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
Represent the Shepard Bros.
Inc.
organization in a professional manner at all times.
Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work.
Observe, follow, and enforce all Shepard Bros.
Inc.
policies and procedures.
Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and management.
Display a positive attitude and maintain a cooperative working relationship with departmental managers and all other employees.
Other duties within a reasonable scope for that of a Production Assistant
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and solve mathematic problems.
Ability to accurately follow instructions.
Flexibility and availability to work extra hours when needed.
Proper forklift certification and proven experience in forklift driving.
