Dental Hygienist (PT)

Our growing practice needs an excellent Dental Hygienist.

We need 2 days a week, preferably: Monday 8 am- 4 pm and/or Tuesday 8:30-5 pm and/or Thursday 9:30- 6 pm Responsibilities: Using dental instruments to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath the margins of gums.
Using probes to examine and locate periodontal recessed gums and other signs of gum disease.
Feeling and visually examining gums for signs of disease, sores, and other dental health issues.
Exposing and developing x-ray film.
Requirements: Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
Able to use an x-ray machine.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.
Our office is in a great location, in a neighborhood full of families and great patients.
Only PPO and private.
One hour is given to every recall patient to ensure high-quality cleaning and proper sanitation of the room, and Dental Assistance availability at all times if needed.
We would prefer at least 2 years of experience.
