Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Assist with meal preparation
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as stoves, grills, knives
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Keep work area clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation and chopping techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Skills:
- Dishwashing experience is a plus
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills
- Knowledge of different cuisines and cooking methods
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff
*Essential Functions*
Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and chopping
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Must be 18 years of age or older

The owners John and Aimee have been serving the locals their famous home made teriyaki and curry recipe since 1980.
B&C Teriyaki has been featured in local newspapers.
Credited as one of the longest standing teriyaki restaurants in the city, B&C Teriyaki hopes to continue to serve tasty comfort food at a great price for the generations to come.
For the first time in 30 years, we are looking to expand and grow.
There is huge potential for growth as we are planning to opening more locations in the near future.

Experience is preferred but not required.
You do need to have a strong positive attitude, have strong integrity, be comfortable in fast paced environments and work well under pressure.
