*OPEN POSITIONS SCHEDULE:* *MON-FRI:* *MORNING SHIFT 11AM-2PM* *CLOSING SHIFT 3PM-7PM* *Only apply if these hours work for you* Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes - Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen - Assist with meal preparation - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling - Operate kitchen equipment, such as stoves, grills, knives - Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils - Keep work area clean and organized Experience: - Previous experience in the food industry is preferred - Knowledge of meal preparation and chopping techniques - Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well as part of a team Skills: - Dishwashing experience is a plus - Proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills - Knowledge of different cuisines and cooking methods - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff *Essential Functions* Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and chopping Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation Must be 18 years of age or older *About us* B&C Teriyaki is a small family owned restaurant.
