Hyatt Place Pasadena – Room Attendant
At Hyatt Hotel our Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.
Responsibilities:
• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs/pack and play, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Secure and document lost and found items
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
Work Environment:
• Must wear proper uniform attire.
• You will occasionally interact with the public and supervisors throughout the day.
• Usually, you will work indoors when cleaning.
In some cases, you may be outdoors when cleaning the balconies or other outdoor spaces.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Will be exposed to contaminants, cleaning products, diseases, or infections.
• Hotels operate 24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• May work as part of a team.
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twist, or lifting as much as 25lbs.
