A Day Program Job Coach at CTS supports adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the community and at our center.
The primary function of this role is to provide a person centered approach to support, behavior management, care and supervision to groups of 3-4 adults.
As a Job Coach you will provide encouragement and engagement with in a variety of activities, including community integration, life skills, volunteer opportunities and recreational activities.
This role also includes helping with activities of daily living, hygiene assistance, cleaning/disinfecting, implementing Individual Program Plans and transporting clients to the community for outings/integration in company vehicles.
*Qualifications:*
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid driver's license (in good standing and must be licensed for minimum of 3 years to be eligible transport clients in company vehicles)
* Successful clearance of DOJ background checks
* Satisfactorily pass pre-employment physical with lifting test, drug test, and negative TB test
* Minimum of one year experience working with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required
* Minimum of one year experience in behavior management preferred
* Able to communicate effectively with clients, team and the public
* Basic computer skills required
* Proof of covid-19 vaccination, including at least first booster, is required for all incoming staff, in order to be compliant with LACDPH current health orders.

This position requires the employee to work in a licensed Adult Day Program governed by the Health Care Worker Vaccination Requirement that was issued by County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health – all workers who provide services to regional center clients must be be fully vaccinated, including at least first booster.
*Proof of vaccination for COVID 19* is required prior to the first day of employment.
