*Who We Are:*
Combining the theme of Japanese ramen restaurant/Izakaya with Korean and overall North East Asian dish, Jumak aims to bring a groundbreaking dine-out experience to our customers in Los Angeles.
By providing an innovative menu of food items from Japan and Korea along with fun theatrics and entertainment, we hope to infuse our North East Asian and American culture into our restaurant and gastropub where people especially travelers used to dine, rest, socialize and have a drink together!
The restaurant will serve regular dining food throughout the day and tapa style food in the evening.
*Your Role:*
As a member of the kitchen team you will report to the Kitchen Managers.
You will assist the Kitchen Managers with food preparation and cook with your team supporting you.
You will help Kitchen Managers to manage the kitchen inventory.
You will be working either full time or part time and comfortable with day and evening shifts.
*Roles available:*

Prep (7am-3pm)
Experience: 2-3 years work in the kitchen

Junior Chefs

Line Cooks

Dish Washer
*What We Are Looking For (including but not limited to):*
* Maintain professional appearance
* Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests.
* Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue.
* Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
* Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes with the ability to execute them to company standard.
* Possesses general knowledge of the venue.
* Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff.
* Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
* Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.
*Physical Demands and Work Environment:*
* Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
* Job duties or tasks may require repetitive motion.
* Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
* Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.
94 - $21.
