We are seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our team at our Chinese restaurant.
As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fry dishes, noodles, and soups.
You will also be expected to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes according to established recipes and standards
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and staff
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas
Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
Follow instructions from the head chef and manager
Requirements:
Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
Knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards
