(RHA) is currently hiring for the following position:
Journeyman Electrician
Full-time, Non-exempt
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installation of energy savings measures in non-residential buildings, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs of electrical systems, running tests of any electrical system in its entirety, and other tasks as assigned.
Commonly installed measures may include (but are not limited to): LED lamp-ballast systems, hardwired and retrofitted fixtures, flood/area lights, appliances, wall packs, lighting controls, high bay fixtures, canopy lights, recessed lighting, electronically commutated motors, smart thermostats, exit signs, refrigeration controls, running conduit.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge in National Electrical Code along with local and state building codes
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in electrical instalation
Must have Non-residential lighting technician certification, Electrician trainee (ET card)
Valid California drivers license with clean driving record
Excellent organization, prioritization and multitasking skills
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Pay: $30.
00-$64.
00 per hour (higher rates contingent on prevailing wage assignments; on average, anticipate working approximately 40-50% of the time at prevailing wage levels).
