ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assist in the installation of hardware for assemblies which includes and is not limited to, panic devices, entry trim, continuous hinges, kick plates, etc.
Receive orders and picks stock material as required by customer order.
Bundles cartons, packages/palletizes and labels material as necessary.
Custom packaging may be required.
Inspects material for quality and accuracy upon arrival.
Restocks inventory shelves and storage locations.
Perform door machining and modification if necessary or as required.
Perform necessary repairs when applicable, such as applying bondo, sanding,
spraying primer, drilling , tapping, cutting, routing, joining, boring, staining, etc.

Uses necessary material handling equipment to accomplish tasks.
Receives incoming inventory, verifies material to packing lists, documents and makes proper notification of any discrepancies between material received and packing lists.
Moves incoming material (doors, frames, anchors, accessories, hardware) into proper storage areas
Perform grinding, sanding, and production as needed.
Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
Work overtime as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience Skills:
1+ years of previous installation experience or experience in a similar role.
Experience working with and maintaining a variety of hand tools, drill presses and saws.
Experience using computer, RF Gun, and other office basic related equipment.
Must be able to measure accurately to 1/16”.
Possess math skills – basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
Experience operating forklift and hand truck.
Experience in metal fabrication preferred.
Commercial construction industry experience a plus.
