Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of a sergeant, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall upkeep and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining landscape through trimming, fertilizing, pruning, watering and weeding, and repair of sprinklers, valves, and other irrigation systems.
Clean and maintain exterior of building including parking lots, walkways, fuel bays, garage, and fence lines.
Empty trash and perform routine maintenance and repairs to the office and surrounding grounds.
Assist Area Automotive Technicians with transportation of state vehicles to and from repair facilities.
