Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Injection The Supply Chain Planning Analyst 2, Injection Planning is responsible for network management of preform/cap production planning and network resin distribution management.
This position plays a critical role in material requirements planning by coordinating raw material production capabilities and finished goods production needs between facilities.
Essential Functions Analyze network inventory and demand for components to drive strategic production decisions Publish weekly injection schedule for specialty components with total ownership of upstream and downstream supply chain coordination Develop annualized inventory, production, and logistics plan.
Initiate and generate alignment with key stakeholders such as Manufacturing, S&OP, and Logistics teams Own tactical planning and supply continuity for manufacturing sites with extensive component complexity and/or changeover complexity Work with Sr.
Analyst and injection manager to develop and execute seasonal inventory build strategy by providing progress update, risk assessment, and exception management Incorporate master production schedules into tactical preform/cap production and resin demand planning processes.
Work to systematize and automate the development of tactical plans Drive key decisions on production and shipment of raw materials between manufacturing sites while optimizing between cost and service Drive process establishment and improvement for the raw materials team with the intent of automation, systematization, and alignment with other teams Ensure that all follow-ups are completed in a timely manner and that all communications are addressed within one business day Advise and implement changes to achieve tactical and strategic goals for injection planning team Assess new purchasing and MRP platforms, methods, and technologies Track and develop metrics to assess adherence to goals for purchasing team Assess and mitigate network supply risks by working collaboratively across teams and functions Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 2 Years – Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning or similar function *experience may include a combination of work experience and education Travel up to 10% Preferred Qualifications: 4 Years – Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning, or similar function *experience may include a combination of work experience and education Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong grasp of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organization Track record of leadership Data-driven approach to problem solving Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Knowing when face to face vs.
