Supply Chain Manager

*Essential Functions of the Role: *Oversees and manages all planning and warehouse activities in the manufacturing environment.
This includes tactical day-to-day operational commitments covering materials management, inventory control and materials functions such as demand planning, warehouse management and shipping/receiving activities.
Translates customer delivery requirements into material strategies and processes.
Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales.
Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures, while ensuring efficient delivery of the revenue plan for the business.
* Exceptional analytic business acumen, data driven with strong ERP background (SAP preferred) * Strong systems experience and materials management * AS9100/ISO 9001 experience * Proven record of managing a diverse workforce * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to successfully integrate new products into the manufacturing process including knowledge, experience, and proven adaptability with different manufacturing disciplines * Base knowledge of electronics manufacturing technologies and methods * Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements * Establishes procedures and supervises daily cycle counts and the annual physical inventory * Supervise, evaluate and coach staff members * Build and manage an appropriate outsource model to support the scalability of the company *Major Duties and Responsibilities:* * Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements * Manages the activities of the material planning function to ensure that the required material, as identified and authorized in the program material plan and Bill of Material, is effectively managed to meet the programs production, and engineering requirements * Ensures work orders are released, kitted and delivered to production on time * Proactively reviews material consumption and shortages to prevent gaps in manufacturing process.
* Key player in decision making for procurement activates, pull in or push out purchase orders to meet demand and control inventory targets.
* Develops and maintains the Master Production Delivery Schedules for all programs within the Business Unit * Resolve problems with inventory levels, production schedules, or materials shortages and provide recommendations to avoid future problems * Drive standard operational key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and effectiveness * Support product lifecycle management including new product introduction * Ensure the shipment of all company products as scheduled * Monitor the flow of materials from order through receipt, production, inspection and shipping * Analyze and maintain the data integrity of ERP data (item attribute, BOM's and routings) to insure proper MPS/MRP planning * Supervise the activities of warehouse, production planners and other supply chain associates by delegating and assigning tasks * Prepare and submit executive reports to management * Optimize warehouse functions *Key Competencies*: * Effective leadership * Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company’s success * Critical thinker and problem-solving skills * Team player * Good time-management skills * Great interpersonal and communication skills * BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field * 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing in a leadership role * Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal level *Requirements:* * While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required typing skills.
