Summary:
Assigns and coordinates the work through the assigned production area.
Assures proper staffing levels are maintained to meet production goals.
Administers personnel policies and procedures for assigned staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate and oversee work activity to ensure proper work procedures per product type.
Maintain real-time visibility of workflow to ensure timeliness of completed work.
Ensures that product meets quality standards and alerts management/quality when a product component does not meet that standard.
Ensures that production documentation, system entries and other production administration occurs when required and in the manner required.
Ensures that production inventory is maintained in an accurate and organized manner.
Promotes and documents safe work practices and enforces safety policies.
Trains/educates employees in proper work practices and expectations.
Oversees the conduct of the workforce, mentoring employees to high performance and counseling employees when performance/conduct is less than expected.
Ensures a clean and orderly work place.
Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Education (Required)
Formal education through a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Technology field preferred
Prior Manufacturing Supervisory Experience – Complex non-electrical assembly or fabrication preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
