Company: Allfast Fastening Systems, LLC Primary Location: 15200 Don Julian Road, City of Industry, CA 91745 USA Employment Type: Hourly | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: Manufactures and maintains inventory of drilled test plates for use throughout manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Reads and interprets documents (blue prints, drawing, or manufacturing work orders), to ascertain what tools and materials are necessary for producing test plates per specification.
Sets up and operates a drill press to drill holes in aluminum and/or steel plates per specification.
Selects mounts and aligns tooling attachments and materials in proper order and relationship.
Makes all adjustments necessary to produce test plates of acceptable quality.
Uses measuring devices, such as, micrometers, calipers and various other inspection gauges to ensure test plate specifications are achieved.
Reworks test plates as needed.
Collects used test plates and stores by size and material type for future use.
Maintains inventory levels as directed by company requirements.
Meets and maintains all productivity levels and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
Performs minor preventative maintenance on assigned drill presses.
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.
The pay scale for this position ranges from $18.
00-$29.
13 an hour.
Qualifications COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
A minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in drill press operation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
