We are looking for a Quality Mechanical Inspector! Pay: $20-$25

Karman is headquartered in greater Los Angeles and currently has 5 locations in Southern California and 1 location in Mukilteo, Washington.
SUMMARY:
Perform mechanical and visual inspection in support of product conformance and generate the required inspection reports.
Work with Customer Representatives (source inspectors) in presenting / verifying conformance prior to delivery.
The Mechanical Inspector must be able to explain the respective role within the QMS and how their role contributes to quality (Ref.
Quality Procedures).
The Mechanical Inspector shall contribute to product conformity as apart to their daily job function and shall contribute to product safety (Ref.
job travelers and the Injury and Illness Prevention Program Handbook).
The Mechanical Inspector shall also be aware of ethical behavior and conduct themselves accordingly to AMRO policies and procedures (Ref.
Employee Handbook).
RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:
Maintain and Realize AS 9100 procedures and continuous improvement efforts
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Generate inspection reports
Perform mechanical and visual inspection on product utilizing both engineering data and electronic models
Work with Program Mangers to support inspection efforts
Work with manufacturing to support production needs
Review of electronic data (quoting and manufacture)
Must understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure
Any other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent in work experience
Adequate years of experience in inspecting machine parts and assemblies using laser tracker determined by AMRO
Adequate years of experience using inspection hand tools (i.
e.
calipers, micrometers, etc.
)
Adequate years of experience working with Customer Source Inspectors
Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, must posses excellent communication skills, and be able to interact well with Customers and all levels of Management
Must have excellent blue print interpretation skills
Hand working inspection tool experience
Must have working knowledge of Customer requirements / specifications
Must have direct communication with internal customers
Must be trained of applicable changes & customer requirements
Must know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions
