*General Responsibility:*
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
This role will require exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals and ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
*Significant Duties:*
Project Planning and Initiation:
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Secure necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
* Assemble and lead project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities.
Budget and Cost Management:
* Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
* Monitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Schedule and Time Management:
* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
* Implement effective time management strategies and adapt to unforeseen challenges.
* Foster a culture of punctuality and adherence to project timelines.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
* Identify potential risks and develop risk management plans.
* Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or budget.
* Implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Implement quality control processes to meet project specifications and standards.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on construction sites.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
* Establish strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
* Address and resolve stakeholder concerns and issues promptly.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams, ensuring high levels of performance.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
* Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project records.
* Generate comprehensive progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Keep project files organized and up to date.

*Requirements/Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
* A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
* Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering multimillion-dollar construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
* PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
