Woodworker (Monrovia)

Seeking a furniture builder at our wood shop in Monrovia.
We specialize in rescuing local downed trees and logs for milling into to lumber and then fabricating furniture pieces.
We call it "Tree to table"! Duties include: prepping material for furniture builds building furniture to specs sanding, finishing, epoxy work, and installs potentially also assist in milling jobs general shop maintenance Experience required including working competency in these listed duties, and specifically in building custom furniture.
Our stock of wood can be heavy and thus the job can be physically demanding at times.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, timeliness and clear communication skills.

The hourly rate is 23 to 26 per hour depending upon experience, and initially 30 to 40 hours a week.
