Founded in 1970, East Valley Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) who's services include providing personalized, affordable, high-quality medical, dental, vision and behavioral health care through a community-based network within the East San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Communities.
Our staff practices patient-centered care by serving each patient with a personalized care plan that meets their individual needs.
Our patients have access to support services that include, nutrition, health education, case management, pharmacy, lab, and x-ray at our health center locations.

Responsibilities:
Ensure nursing services comply with Federal and State laws, EVCHC policies and procedures, as well as with external regulatory bodies such as PCMH, FQHC, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and other professional review and standards boards.
In consultation with the CMO, COO and/or delegates, develop and maintain Nursing Policies as required.
Provide necessary orientation and periodic trainings to ensure Nursing staff at all levels meet their required competencies and work at the top of their scope.
Perform periodic assessments to ensure Nursing staff meet their required competencies and are working at the top of their scope.
In conjunction with Clinic managers, implement process improvements as required.
In conjunction with the Operations Director and Clinic Managers, develop annual nursing performance and staffing plans.
Serves as a liaison with different nursing and medical assistant schools to create effective student rotations at all EVCHC sites.
Assist RNs with Nurse Line duties, triage and/or other responsibilities as required.
Assist with preparing various private, county and state audits.
Assist with N-95 fit testing as necessary.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing Program; BSN preferred.
Current RN License in the state of California.
Minimum three (3) years of management and supervisory experience.
Effective training skills at all levels of nursing.
Knowledge of Nursing Federal and State laws, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and other professional review and standards boards regulations.
Able to adapt process improvement in accordance with organizational objectives.
Experience and/or good working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Lean and/or PDSA process improvement systems.
Able to function independently with demonstrated responsibility and accountability.
BLS certification.
Have appropriate nursing skills to be and expert resource.
FQHC experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
EMR knowledge and experience.
NextGen experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
DOE: $100,000 - $118,810
