ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY
SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, the Financial Systems Analyst will offer primary support on contract analysis and management.
Also, provide coordination and support of financial systems used for the organization to all Enterprise units.
In addition, the range of work will include coordinating internal Enterprise related projects and supporting project management needs for all units as assigned by the Assistant Director.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):
Perform internal ‘walk-throughs’ with departments to review policies & procedures to meeting federal/state/local compliance requirements
Perform review and checks on current organizational practices
Maintain and update contracts, internal policies & procedures for each department for organization-wide operational audits
Review project contracts for legal terms and conditions to assure the organization is not at
Review any contract changes to stay in line with corporate goals and objectives
Assist on primary contracts administration and coordinate internal projects for the organization, supporting all Enterprises and Administrative units
In consultation with the Assistant Director of Contracts and Project Management, authors and maintains technical documentation for financial applications, workflows and business processes
Provides training and coordination to Enterprises staff for technical training on Finance Enterprise, Level 1 data, and other course material related to financial or technical compliances, assist with troubleshooting of issues
Provide financial systems support to cross-functional business team members, including inter-departmental collaborations
Works with external vendors to resolve contract-related issues, as needed
Optimize and improve on work process and overall approach, where necessary
Provide back-up support to staff functions in the area of Contracts and Project Management, when required
Responsible for additional duties as required and assigned
Ability to adhere to a regular work schedule
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May supervise student, part-time and full-time staff as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or four years college education;
Five years related experience and/or training in Systems & Project Management; or equivalent combination of education and
Experience in financial systems / services department and higher education environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required and proficiency in project management and/or contracts management software
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, attention to detail, task management and strong communication skills are
