For sale is a gently used Lenovo ThinkPad 14" T460 Laptop in very good condition for sale by the original owner since brand new including genuine power adapter and Ultra 40A2 Docking Station with all of its original accessories.
Includes all original packaging for both the laptop and the dock.
The machine still works great.
I am only selling it because I upgraded to a newer TP and do not have a use for this, so it needs to go to a new home.
Cosmetically I would rate it as being in very good condition with some standard wear and tear on the top lid from normal use.
Functionally (aside from battery) the machine is perfect.
Everything works.
All ports work without issue.
The display has zero defective pixels.
I will do a format and a clean install of Windows 10 Pro for the new buyer prior to selling.
The dock and this machine are enough to drive two 2560x1440 resolution monitors through the dock’s two DP outputs or the HDMI output, both screens at 60Hz, which I have run in the past without issue.
If the keyboard travel of your laptop is important for you, the T460 is a great bet.
The T460 is, one of the last T-series ThinkPad to have more than 2mm of key travel on the keyboard, if that is important to you.
With the T460S/T470/T480, they went to 1.
8mm, which has been reduced further to 1.
5mm in newer ThinkPad models.
Both batteries are original.
They still work and hold charge and power the machine -either one will power the machine if you disable the other.
The external battery needs to be replaced while the internal one is in good shape with less than 300 cycles on it.
Replacement external batteries (part # 68), are available for very reasonable prices on sites like eBay.
You can upgrade the external to a 6 cell (68+) if you are ok with a non-flush bottom.
The buyer is welcome to test it to their satisfaction at a local coffee shop in the city of South Pasadena and ensure that everything works to your satisfaction prior to buying.
