Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
-Plan and prepare ahead side dishes in accordance to estimated volumes
-Prepare marinades for meats according to recipes
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food handling and food service techniques
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, such as knives and grills
- Strong understanding of culinary terms and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Skills:
- Help: Willingness to assist other kitchen staff when needed, such as prepping ingredients or cleaning stations.
- Cook: Proficiency in cooking various dishes, following recipes, and ensuring food is cooked to the appropriate temperature.
