Team Members will wear many hats at the Carter Organization (including a uniform hat), in order to deliver a gold standard experience to all customers.
All Team Members are expected to become cross-trained in all three areas of the business: Service, Production and Maintenance/Sanitation.
This is to ensure we can provide continuity gold standard service.
Our goal is to help develop each Team Member to become operational experts, who can teach and coach new Team Members while being a role model for providing a gold standard experience to our customers.
As s Team Member for the Carter Organization, the below is a job description for each area of the business: PRODUCTION AREA: · Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting gold standards · Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, grilling, frying, assembling, initiating, and food prep · Stock kitchen inventory as needed · Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times · Keep up to date with new products rolled out by McDonald’s · Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership · Maintain personal knowledge by completing ongoing training and stay up to date on any changes · Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned MAINTENANCE/SANITATION: · The ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the restaurant.
· The ability to bend, stoop and reach around, behind and across restaurant equipment and furniture.
· Responsible for the sanitation and operation of restaurant equipment such as toasters, ovens, microwaves, fryers, grills, coffee machines, drink machines, etc.
The effective operation of such equipment requires the use of all limbs and the ability to see at a close distance.
· Sweeping, mopping, deck brushing floors and baseboards · Learning how to complete daily, weekly and monthly Planned Maintenance tasks · Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned SERVICE AREA: · Speaking enthusiastically to all customers with a smile · Assembling food orders on trays or bags · Assisting cooks with food preparation · Taking payments for food orders and providing correct change (math skills) · Stocking condiments, paper supplies and beverage stations · Assisting customer via telephone and mobile app · Assisting Delivery Drivers with the same respect as Team Members ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE TEAM MEMBER POSITION: The intellectual and physical demands described below are representative of what must be met by Team Members to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
