Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a caregiving, babysitting, or nannying role
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a structured learning environment
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques appropriate for young children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and staff members
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children
Note: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
Relevant experience will be considered.
