HOURS PER WEEK: Up to 25 hours per week
REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator
*We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Program Leader to join our team.
Preferably someone that has a skill they can teach to kids like Dance, Cheer, STEM, ART, Music etc.

As a Program Leader, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities for children in our program.
Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Youth Development
Help support programs at assigned site.
Assist members with Homework.
Establish meaningful relationships with Boys & Girls Club members.
Encourage positive reinforcement.
Program Development & Implementation
Plan and implement programs and activities, which include but are not limited to:
o Academic Enrichment
o Healthy Lifestyles
o Character & Citizenship
Work with Site Coordinator and team to:
o Create lesson plans, program calendars, schedule of activities
o Plan and implement special/culminating events
Supervision
Ensure that members always remain in line of sight.
Provide effective guidance and role modeling to members and help members resolve problems and conflicts.
Provide a physically and emotionally safe environment for all members at all times –and ensure the emotional and physical safety of all members.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to ensuring that facility, equipment and supplies are maintained.
Contribute to creating a fun and safe environment for youth.
Assist with overall club programs or special events when needed.
Ensure a productive work environment by working with all staff as a team member.
Participate in weekly staff meetings, when required.
Participate in all Mandatory Trainings.
* High School Diploma required.
AA degree or 48 college semester units or passing of the Program Leader Equivalency Exam \* Good verbal and written communication skills.
Mandatory CPR and First Aid certification prior to hire.
All positions are subject to clearance of Background Checks and Drug Testing
Mandatory TB Testing prior to hire Valid Driver’s License
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
Mandated Reporter Training/Sexual Harassment Training courses to be provided
