Associate Toddler Teacher

We are a well-established preschool in Altadena, and we are currently seeking an Associate Teacher for our Preschool Class in the afternoons.
Our school has been providing high-quality early childhood education for over 40 years, and we are looking for an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team.
Job Description: As an Associate Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that nurtures the whole child.
You will work closely with one Associate and Lead Teacher to ensure that the children receive excellent care and education.
Your role will include: * Delivering engaging lessons and activities that support the growth and development of each child.
* Creating a warm and positive environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Practicing Conscious Discipline, a brain-based social-emotional learning approach, when addressing behavior in the classroom.
* Collaborating with parents and other teachers to support each child's individual needs.
* Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to further your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: * A minimum of 12 ECE units, an Associate or Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field preferred.
* At least two years of experience as a lead teacher in a toddler classroom.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
* A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
