*PRESHOOL& KINDERGARTEN IN TEMPLE CITY/SAN GABRIEL AREA IS LOOKING FOR *a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher.
*TEACHERS RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Work with the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool students.
* Support classroom management and create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
* Supervise and engage children during playtime, ensuring their well-being and safety.
* Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and modeling appropriate behavior.
* Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to create a cohesive preschool experience.
* Assist with preparing and organizing materials, maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
* Communicate positively and in a professional manner with parents, children, co-teachers and administration.
*Qualifications:*
Two plus years’ experience working with pre-school age children.
Must have at least 6 Early Childhood units
* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a relevant degree or certification in early childhood education is a plus.
* Passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a warm and nurturing environment for children.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from the lead teacher.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom and students.
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
