Display evidence of superior preparation for classroom instruction and participation in professional development.

Teach the assigned courses to the students.

Review and correct students’ school homework.

Create an engaging curriculum for students in English, Math, Ecological and other activities/subjects as needed.

Incorporate new media technology in lesson plans.

Utilize a wide variety of teaching styles that meet individual student’s needs and abilities.

Utilize a variety of learning materials and resources for educational activities.
8.
Incorporate cooperative group learning methods to support learning objectives.
9.
Adopt formal and informal assessments to assess student learning to promote academic achievement.
10.
Create extended learning activities to help students comprehend learned concepts.
11.
Implement strategies for classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
12.
Reinforce appropriate behavior and manages disruptive behavior constructively.
13.
Develop rapport with students, parents, staff, and volunteers.
14.
Provide the supervisor with all documentation requested, generally related to the function of teaching and learning.

Submit to review, evaluation, and any and all corrective discipline, directives, or professional

Maintain age appropriate interaction with students at all times.
17.
Maintain a professional relationship with all volunteers, staff, and parent
18.
Work within the Afterschool Program operation hours, Monday through Friday.
19.
Assist on Saturday events as needed.
20.
Daily schedule will be determined by the supervisor in regards to the hours, breaks asrequired by the law, and is subject to change in order to meet the summer camp needs.
21.
Inform the supervisor by 6:00 am if they’re unable to arrive at work.
22.
Keep a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond regular duties.
23.
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
24.
Abides by the Foundation’s policies, dressing code, procedures, protocols whether verbally disclosed or contained in handbooks, job descriptions, or other Foundation’s documents.
*Job Requirements:*
1.
BA/AA degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field;
2.
At least one year of previous experience with children, preferably in an educational setting.
