Position/Title: Infant Instructor Roles and Responsibilities Overview: Under the general direction of the Program Director and Program Supervisor, the Infant Educator will provide quality, comprehensive parent training services to increase child’s developmental milestone in the area of physical and motor development, cognitive development, language and speech development, psychosocial development including self help skills and feeding, social skills, and sensory integration to children infant to 3 years of age.
In addition, the Infant Educator will encourage caregiver involvement in education planning, goal setting, and activities.
* Constructs a daily schedule of session routines and activities.
Prepares and implements lesson plans following the approved parent training curriculum standards.
* Interacts positively with all children to support their individual learning and meet their emotional needs.
* Communicates regularly and respectfully with families and involves them in the education program.
*Meets with families as they enter the program to review developmental information and as they leave the program for transition of developmental issues.
* * Makes daily written observations of individual children.
Provides a curriculum and environment, including a multi---cultural environment, which meets the needs of every child.
* Coordinates and performs child development assessment/evaluations to evaluate growth and development 45 days before end of authorization period.
Re---screens and makes referrals as necessary.
* Maintains complete written and digital records on each child, stored in a confidential manner.
* Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns and---or directing appropriate personnel for resolution.
* *Sessions are provided at a sensory integration clinic, client's home, or via telehealth.
Must be willing to provide services in all areas.

*PLAYFUL and HAPPY*! Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree or higher in Child Development or related field or Associated Degree currently working towards a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and/or related field.
* At least one year of recent experience working with children from infant to 5 year of age.
* Knowledge of early childhood curricula * Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access and Internet use.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.
00 - $25.
