We partner with a national home improvement chain, multiple home builders and general contractors for fence installation requirements.
The Company is seeking an Experienced Sales Consultant for immediate hire.
A successful candidate will like working with people, meeting customer needs and expectations, and solving problems both during the sales process and at the time of installation.
You should like to work outdoors and to be involved in home improvement and construction.
NO COLD CALLING – leads are supplied through online marketing, social media, referrals, and from our partnerships.
Our customers are vetted and ready to buy a fence.
Paid training for 4-6 weeks.
Compensation will be commission-only for average compensation of $80,000 - $140,000 per year with unlimited potential.
A laptop will be provided after the training period is completed.
A vehicle and gas card will be provided between 30-90 days after the training period.
The territory for this position is primarily the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding area, so candidates need to live within here.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured selling process and complete required training
- Present and sell the features and benefits of Superior Fence & Rail high-quality products
- Set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goal
- Pursue appointments and sales through supplied, active lead system
- Prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up
- Answer customer inquiries quickly and professionally
- Work with install teams to understand, explain, and analyze the customer’s needs
- Perform basic record keeping and data entry to track sales and client requests
- Interact with customers and colleagues in a pleasant and friendly manner

Minimum Requirements:
- Be able to use software applications for fence estimates, email, text messaging, etc.
- Fence, home improvement or general construction industry knowledge preferred
- College degree in a related field (preferred)
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google Workspace)
- Pass background check
- Pass drug screening
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
The Superior candidate will be:
- Be polished and professional in demeanor and possess previous outside sales experience
- Have strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills, integrity, and a desire for high commission
- Highly attentive to detail and organized
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Able to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from colleagues, supervisors, and customers
- Exceedingly positive in work attitude
