Steward Financial Services in San Dimas is seeking staff for the tax season.
This is a temporary position which will last January through April 17, 2024 approximately.
This is an afternoon shift from approximately 2 – 7 pm.
The workdays will be Mon-Thu & Sat.
The purpose of this fast-paced job is to ensure a smooth workflow by performing necessary daily
tasks while looking for ways to go above and beyond supporting and assisting our tax preparers.
During the tax season, every team member is vital to our office servicing our clients.
Therefore, you will learn all aspects of our office including setting appointments, data entry, filing, mail, preparation of completed returns, and follow-up calls.
You will interact with a variety of clients, greet visitors, screen phone calls and take messages.
This position requires a friendly person with attention to detail, an organized approach to handling the workload assigned, and the ability to process and handle confidential information.
The applicant must be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year office experience, though this is not required, proficient computer and word processing skills - MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Competent organizational skills, ability to exercise good judgment in handling confidential matters, motivated to take on new tasks and learn new processes as necessary, and ability to work independently.
