* *Schedule:* Monday- Friday *Summary: *We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team.
The Accountant will play a key role in financial management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall financial objectives.
*Responsibilities and Essentials* * Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing through the preparation and review of ledgers and journal entries * Prepare and validate invoices to customers * Work with operations and quality functions to validate proper receipt and buy-off of goods received for A/P processing * Perform monthly accounting analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts * Collaborate and work closely with key contacts in other departments to resolve reconciling differences and unrecorded transactions * Coordinate and complete internal and external accounting audits to include preparing schedules, and providing supporting data and explanations.
* Create a wide variety of ad hoc reports * Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
*Requirements* * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field * 5-7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally in an aerospace manufacturing setting * Solid understanding of accounting principles, methods, and general ledger functions in accordance with GAAP * Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) * Strong Excel and computer skills; comfortable with multiple tools, programs and platforms * Experience with ERP Job Boss a plus * Excellent communication skills; ability to summarize business results in a manner tailored to the audience * Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills * Highly collaborative with good leadership skills; able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
