*Responsibilities of Accounts Receivable Clerk role include but are not limited to:*
* Supporting Accounting in new customer set up, collection calling, billing resolutions.
* Supporting Customer Service in customer problem resolutions including shipping inquiries, order status and delays, returns and repair/warranty work, and general sales support requests.
* Supporting Purchasing in vendor shipping resolutions, cycle counts, vendor set up, special orders, and assisting in forecasting for inventory management.
* Following up on special projects and blanket orders purchase orders.
Review purchase order agreements, customer and vendor agreements, completing customer documentation requests.
* Communicating invoice and PO acknowledgment discrepancy issues through to resolution including review of orders against purchase orders for accuracy and consistency.
* Supporting inbound and outbound phone calls as needed, including some collections calling.
*The Accounts Receivable Clerk role should have the following skills and meet the following requirements:*
* Positive attitude, good cheer, proactive, and ability to put ‘team’ first
* Outgoing, enjoys interacting with people
* Comfortable with Adobe PDF and Microsoft suite including Excel, Word – prior experience with P21 ERP desired, but not required - will train
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities
* Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
* Problem solving, analytical skills - some business law/contract experience helpful but not required
* Strong desire to learn, pitch in and grow with the company
*Additional Information:*
Physical Demand: Training will be in all aspects of the company.
Some standing, walking throughout the building, minor travel less than 50 miles may be requested.
