Bookkeeper Accountant

Job Responsibilities: Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies.
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure.
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances.
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the accountant of errors.
Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies.
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets.
Preparing employee wages.
Managing employee expense claims.
Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts.
Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
Managing income and expenditure accounts.
Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status.
Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS: Work Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Other Requirements: Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
Must have excellent vision and dexterity and basic communication skills is a must.
Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Outstanding attendance/punctuality.
Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance.
Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
