Dealership Office Manager

Dealership Office Manager JOB DESCRIPTION The Office Manager helps manage the accounting operations of the business.
He or she maintains an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
In addition, the Office Manager develops periodic financial reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Business Administration and at least one year of experience in a position of similar responsibility.
He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
NOTE: Dealership experience is required for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports Oversees vendor management and outsourcing Maintains an orderly accounting system Maintains accounts payable/receivable Processes payroll and tax liabilities Completes periodic bank reconciliations Issues timely and complete financial statements Complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS College degree in Accounting or Business Administration Minimum one year of relevant experience Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff Able to deal with confidential information appropriately Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy Strong problem solving and analytical skills Highly professional and dependable Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite Experienced with business applications and accounting software Dealership Experience Required COMPANY OVERVIEW Car Pros is a family owned and operated company for over 30 years, and is the premier dealer of new Kia, Honda, Hyundai, BMW, and Mini vehicles in Washington and California.
