Job Summary
The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager is responsible for reviewing and analyzing current credit data and financial statements to identify and assess credit risk.
This position will assist in spreading financial statements, developing global cash flows, reviewing credit reports, historical payment performance, preparing periodic loan reviews, credit risk rating recommendations, financial tickler and covenant reports including but not limited to collecting financial documents from clients.
The Portfolio Manager will provide quality service to all customers.
Responsible for technical knowledge, proficiency and productivity in the Credit Department ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed, and service standards are achieved.
Essential Job Duties
Assist Relationship Managers in monitoring the quality of the institution's loan portfolio.
Request financial documents from clients via email and/or call clients for follow up.
Create financial ticklers and covenants for newly funded, renewed, and modified commercial loans in the tracking systems.
Prepare written loan reviews of existing commercial loan customers including but not limited to checking the status of the borrowing entities with Secretary State, tax assessors’ website for property tax inquiries, insurance status.
Review loan documentation files, conduct cash flow analysis, analyze key risk indicators on a loan-by-loan basis, and identify any upside or downside to the credit.
Periodic report writing, ensuring the loan portfolio is adequately risk rated and will take an active role in audits.
Follow-up on financial performance covenants, monitoring requirements, ensure accurate borrower risk ratings for new and existing credit requests based on analysis and prepare waivers for loans that fail to meet the covenant threshold.
Portfolio management functions include monitoring and managing the credit quality of the assigned loan portfolio.
Reviews client’s accounts and portfolios in order to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the Bank.
Engage in special projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in finance or accounting.
5-7 years’ experience commercial lending and banking experience with thorough knowledge of lending regulations and credit/underwriting practices.
5-7 years’ experience in loan negotiation (rates, terms, collateral requirements) experience.
5-7 years’ experience in underwriting in the requisite area of commercial lending.
Computer & Software Skills
Must have foundational computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook email and calendaring), Adobe Acrobat, the Internet, Abrigo as well as other loan applications.

$90,000.
