Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting team and oversee financial reporting and audits.
The Controller will play a vital role in optimizing accounting and financial reporting processes, supporting the platform's expansion, and contributing to the company's strategic goals.
As part of the Fund Accounting and Operations team, the Controller will manage accounting for private real estate debt and equity funds with various investment strategies, collaborate with investment companies, fund managers, auditors, and oversee the preparation of financial statements.
The role entails analyzing portfolio-level data, coordinating audits, and driving operational and accounting process improvements.
The ideal candidate holds a CPA certification, a bachelor's degree and possesses strong real estate accounting knowledge.
You should demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with proficiency in eFront and advanced Excel.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, year-end bonus, 401k contribution, health insurance, and paid time off.
