Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced accounts payable clerk to join our team.
The accounts payable clerk will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Responsibilities:* * Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and timely payments * Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies * Respond to external and internal inquiries and resolve issues * Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records * Process employee expense reports and verify accuracy * Assist with month-end and year-end close processes * Prepare reports and analysis on accounts payable activities * Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Communicate effectively with other departments and team members *Qualifications Required:* * Bachelors degree preferred * 1+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in freight forwarding logistics industry * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Benefit Perks*_*:*_ * 100% Company Sponsored Medical, Dental and Vision insurance coverage * Vacation/ Personal Days combined up to 15 days * 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company’s Matching Job Type: Full-time Pay: $3,800.
