*Role: Cost Accounting Manager*
*Location: Bolingbrook, IL / City of Industry, CA / Cherry Hill, NJ (Onsite)*

Responsibilities
· Collecting and analyzing data in relation to the company’s manufacturing and inventory costs
· Developing and analyzing cost standards
· Ensuring bills of material are accurate and complete for all products
· Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
· Identifying costs related to labor, shipping, and various overhead components, and formulating a proper allocation
· Performing account reconciliations for various inventory accounts
· Establish inventory reserves for both raw materials and finished goods
· Recommend changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
· Advise upper management on appropriate product pricing based on costing data
· Support other accounting team members with month end procedures
Qualifications And Skills
· Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· 5+ years of work experience as a cost accountant, inventory analyst, or other relevant role in a manufacturing company
· In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
· Familiarity with accounting software programs, NetSuite
· Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel and basic data entry and computation
· Strong financial analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
· Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
· Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics
· Expertise in activity-based costing for fixed and variable costs in relation to the overall direct cost of a line of products
· Complete understanding of inventory, inventory control, and valuation
· Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Salary: From $120,000.
