Accounting Assistant/Datas Entry

Worldwide Recovery Systems continues to grow and is looking for a positive and energetic person to join our team.
We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant/Data Entry at our Pomona, CA facility.
This position will work within the AP and AR Departments.
The primary function will be checking vendor bills for accuracy, ensuring customers were billed accordingly, and entering vendor bills into accouting systems and spreadsheets.
Other administrative duties may be assigned.
This is a new position, created from organic growth.
*Qualifications* * Good communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficient with MS Excel and Word * Experience with QuickBooks Desktop * Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality is required * Must be able to pass a basic math test and successfully pass a criminal background, physical and drug screen * Knowledge of general office procedures, email and data processing * Ability to ensure a high degree of accuracy and consistency of the work being processed * Ability to sit at a computer and perform data entry functions for an extended period * Knowledge of hazardous waste or transportation industry are a plus *Benefits:* * Paid training * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Medical and dental insurance * 401k Retirement plan * Full time work with possible periodic overtime * COMPENSATION: $18 per hour + Depending on experience * Work in a safety-first, yet casual environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
