Bookkeeper

```Duties``` - Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies - Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends - Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Process payroll and maintain payroll records - Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger ```Skills``` - Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices - Experience with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Experience with commerical construction - Proficiency in payroll processing and understanding of payroll tax laws - Ability to assist with budgeting activities and financial analysis - Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices - Expertise in using QuickBooks - Understanding of financial concepts and ability to generate accurate financial reports - Strong written communication skills for financial report writing Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time.
