The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years bookkeeping experience and must be familiar with general ledger analysis and financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, bank reconciliation, payroll and research.
The Bookkeeper position works closely within a team in a fast paced work environment, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills must also include proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
During the onboarding period, you will be asked to come to our office so you have access to the staff and receive the support to be successful.
Once you've onboarded, we offer a flexible work-from-home schedule alternating days in the office and remote.
*Essential Functions*
* Reconcile bank accounts
* Prepare financial statements
* Prepare invoices and help manage client’s receivables
* Manage client payables
* Strong willingness and eagerness to learn new technical subject areas
*Job Qualifications*
* Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
* Work effectively with staff members, clients, and vendors
* Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
* Team-oriented and able to work independently
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
*Education/ Experience*
* College degree and minimum three years of accounting experience
* Proficient in excel
* Experience with Agilink, Xero and Bill.
