Experienced Audit Associate

*Tasks* *Responsibilities* · Perform and assist with public company audits and reviews in various industries under PCAOB standards · Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls · Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up · Understanding of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting standards · Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines · Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient · Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise *Skills* · Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex audit issues in plain language · Attention to detail and dedication to quality · Strong project management, problem solving, and analytical skills · Strong leadership, training, mentoring and staff development skills · Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment · Dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a team mentality *Experience And Education* · Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting · 1-2 years in relevant position · Strong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.
