Accounting Assistant

Overview: We are seeking an entry-level Accounting Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent data entry skills.
As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring accurate financial records.
Responsibilities: - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accurate and timely payments - Conduct efficient data entry and maintaining financial records - Perform general ledger reconciliation and account analysis - Support the month-end and year-end closing processes - Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies - Multi-tasking and efficiently managing day-to-day tasks - Assisting with various office-related tasks as needed Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts - Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges - Familiar with QuickBooks and Microsoft office Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20-24/hr Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid sick time * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
