Under general supervision, Auditors will perform a variety of auditing work of concessionaires and parking sellers.
Auditors will verify that all procedures are in place and being adhered to.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs detailed audits of concession stands and parking sellers
• Prepares written reports of audited stands and sellers, including results and recommendations
• Verify alcohol stands are asking for proper ID as required
• Look for accuracy in cash handling and recording of sales
• Review cash register tapes for trends and accuracy and prepare reports for Internal Audit Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Must have good mathematical skills
• Must be able to analyze information quickly and accurately
• Must be able to work independently, be detailed oriented, and be able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to effectively present information both written and verbally in one-to-one and small group situations to managers, vendors, and other employees of the organization
• Must be proficient in Excel and Word
• Position requires confidentiality and the highest standards of business ethics
• Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator by touch
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
• Must be able to communicate over the telephone
• Must be able to access, input, and retrieve data using a computer
• Must have a valid California Driver License and a clean driving record
• Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
• Must be able to walk the entire fairgrounds and stand for extended periods, with regular breaks
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in extreme weather, such as heat, cold, or rain
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
