Ready to start your van-life adventure with a comfortable, reliable, well-built vehicle? This van comes equipped with everything you need to hit the road; refer to the following list of topics discussed in this post: 1.
Van engine and related Previous owners from two years ago were both mechanics so the van’s engine is in tip top shape.
Refer to the video in the post to hear the engine start up.
There is absolutely no knocking, whining, or otherwise suspicious sounds in the van.
In my opinion this is one of the defining features of this van, if you want something that will serve you well on the road, you are in luck with this van.
130,583 miles V8 engine: I’ve had no problem driving up mountains and through long trips.
35-gallon fuel tank: fill up with cheap gas when you find it, and don’t worry about refueling for a while Battery is less than two years old No oil leak at all under the van (my mechanic reported it is one of the cleanest under-vehicles he’s seen of an automobile from the early 2000’s) There is some superficial damage throughout the van body including peeling of the clearcoat and some paint chipping on the fiberglass topper.
Nothing that can’t be easily repaired.
2.
Interior -Cedar shiplap interior: sealed with polyurethane -Laminate floor -Insulated walls -Sink powered with foot pump with 12 gallon clean water capacity and 5 gallon grey water collection bucket -2 closet pegs for hanging clothes -2 large drawers -Large desk that can mount on wall to make additional space -6 small shelves for clothes/pantry/medicine cabinet -4 desk drawers -Fan-tastic High-powered Roof Vent with Thermostat -Tons of storage under the bed.
-Hitch on back of van -I am just under 6 feet and I can stand fine inside without shoes on.
3.
Electrical The solar system was built to exceed the capacity of normal usage; in other words, I always had excess energy in the battery, even in the winter.
Speaking of the battery, I bought a very high-quality battery that does not require complicated maintenance.
-2 100 watt roof mounted solar panel -1100 watt Power inverter -Ampere Time 12V 100Ah, 1280Wh Lithium Battery Vanlife, Van-life, van life, RV, Nomad, Traveling, Remote Work
