50 per hour, with annual increases.

A Day Program Job Coach at CTS supports adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the community and at our center.
Our Sierra Madre Day Program specializes in working with individuals who are blind or have vision impairments.
The primary function of this role is to provide a person centered approach to support, care and supervision to groups of up to four adults.
As a Job Couch you will provide encouragement and engagement with in a variety of activities, including paid work activity, volunteer opportunities and recreational activities.
This role also includes helping with activities of daily living, hygiene assistance, cleaning/disinfecting and implementing Individual Program Plans.
*Qualifications:*
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid driver's license (in good standing and must be licensed for minimum of 3 years to be eligible transport clients in company vehicles)
* Minimum of one year experience working with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
* Successful clearance of DOJ background checks
* Satisfactorily pass pre-employment physical with lifting test, drug test, and negative TB test
* Able to communicate effectively with clients, team and the public
* Basic computer skills required
* Proof of covid-19 vaccination, including at least first booster, is required for all incoming staff, in order to be compliant with LACDPH current health orders.

PPE is provided to staff.
Regularly scheduled sanitation protocols in place at all sites.
This position requires the employee to work in a licensed Adult Day Program governed by the Health Care Worker Vaccination Requirement that was issued by County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health and the order from the State of California – requiring all workers who provide services or work in Adult Programs to be be fully vaccinated, including at least first booster.
*Proof of vaccination for COVID 19* is required prior to the first day of employment.
