JOB PURPOSE: To work as an employee of a State Farm Agent, assisting in selling and servicing State Farm Insurance products to customers in a small office of 4 persons.
Unlicensed Hourly rate $19.
00+ per hour with growth and commission opportunities.
Licensed $20+ per hour +commission
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
1.
Bi-lingual - Spanish REQUIRED
2.
Minimum of 5-7 consecutive yrs.
work experience in Retail, Customer Service or Hospitality.
3.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook and/or Excel
4.
Strong Mathematical Skills REQUIRED
5.
Strong phone and written skills REQUIRED
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.
Ability to pay close attention to detail as three computer programs will be used.
2.
Ability to calculate insurance premiums, percentages, and discounts.
3.
Strong listening, oral and written communication skills required.
4.
Ability to follow through with instructions and directions from multiple persons.
5.
Ability to make insurance sales presentations to clients in English and Spanish.
6.
Self-confident, strong work ethic and positive attitude towards achieving agency goals.
7.
Proven track record of dependability, trustworthiness, and ethical behavior.
8.
Ability to learn and apply product, industry, and market knowledge to make professional
recommendations to clients
9.
Ability to multi-task.
JOB RELATED TRAINING COURSES AND PROGRAMS:
You will be required to successfully complete all Company, State and Federal licensing requirements after a 3 (three) month probationary training period.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Contact prospects and current policyholders
2.
Set and complete appointments for sales and policy reviews.
3.
Complete detail log entries with high level of accuracy.
4.
Prepare forms, policies, and endorsements when required.
5.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
6.
As directed by the agent, update information in customer databases.
7.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent.
