Bookkeeper

Description iBUYPOWER is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team in a crucial role.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing in-depth account analysis and reconciliation, overseeing the entry of all financial data into the appropriate accounting software, and actively participating in month-end and year-end closing processes.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
The ideal candidate for this role should bring not only professional expertise but also a positive attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-volume environment.
Additionally, candidates should have a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Key Responsibilities Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Ensure all financial data is entered into the appropriate accounting software.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) knowledge to financial tasks.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in governmental accounting principles and practices.
Strong knowledge of technical accounting procedures and standards.
Experience with 10-key typing and data entry.
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.
Familiarity with payroll processing systems and procedures.
Mandarin speaking is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
