SUMMARY
The Integrated Correction Health Services (ICHS) was established on June 9, 2015, to enhance the quality and delivery of healthcare to the incarcerated population in the County jails.
ICHS oversees the development and delivery of integrated medical, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment services to the inmate population.
ICHS ensures that this vulnerable population’s healthcare treatment continues upon re-entry into the community by arranging comprehensive transition services that will be provided by County departments and community-based organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages the Integrated Correctional Health Services’ (ICHS) contracts which comprise of monitoring the budget and ensuring the expenditures will not exceed the allowable contract maximum amount.
Works closely with Contract & Grants’ analysts and ICHS program office to evaluate the contract needs, validate the available funding, adhering to County policy and complying with Federal and State guidelines.
Prepares the Financial Performance Analysis (FPA) including financial reports for Services & Supplies, Registry, Physician and Specialty Contracts, Capital Assets & Other Charges and Revenues to monitor expenditure and revenue trends.
Assignments as needed by Finance lead.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of experience in a staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems of organization, program, procedure, budget, or personnel.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with twenty-one (21) semester units or thirty-two (32) quarter units of accounting including at least two (2) courses in advanced subjects such as cost accounting and auditing.
Certificates/Licenses/Clearances
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
Successful clearing through the Live Scan process with the County of Los Angeles.
