The ideal candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and possess excellent time management, self-management, and record management skills.
Experience with Paychex Flex, QuickBooks or CentralReach is a plus, demonstrating your versatility in accounting software.

*Essential Duties*
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with payroll management, including processing timesheets and ensuring accurate payment of employees
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
*Education & Experience*
- High School diploma
- Associate's degree in Accounting, 2 years of college, or related field preferred
- Proven 1 year experience working in an accounting role
*Knowledge*
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Paychex Flex, or CentralReach
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of payroll management processes, including experience with Paychex or similar systems
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures
*Requirements if hired*
· Passing Physical and Drug test
· Active Tuberculosis (TB) vaccination
· Active California Driver’s license (if has one)
· Active auto insurance with minimum state-required coverage (if has one)
· Clearance for DOJ and
· Criminal Index (including Child Abuse Index)
